Drone footage of Cape Town, South Africa area by Phantom 2

DJI Phantom 2 shoots aerials of Cape Town and the surrounding area which includes Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, Cape Point, Hout Bay, Simon’s Town, and Seal Island.

Video shot with a DJI Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal and GoPro HERO 3+ Black, according to the video publisher.

Beautifully done flyover and circling of Lion’s Head where you get a great 360 view of the peak and the surrounding city of Cape Town and the ocean below.  Also fantastic aerial footage of Table Mountain with its cableway taking visitors to the top.

The drone also captures a great white shark from above at Seal Island and spotted gully sharks / sharptooth houndshark in the surf near Cape Point in Table Mountain National Park, and a brown fur seal surfing in the waves.  The video beautifully captures the massive number of seals and sharks enjoying the water wonderland.  Wow!

Seal Island is a small land mass located 5.7 km off the northern beaches of False Bay, near Cape Town, in South Africa. The island is so named because of the great number of Cape Fur Seals that occupy it. It is 5 acres in area and home to 64,000 cape fur seals
