Drone Footage Of Frozen Niagara Falls from NBC Nightly News

Aerial view captured by a drone camera of the massive amount of ice encasing Niagara Falls.  Provided by NBC News the footage, captures a rare and beautiful occurrence, which has drawn in visitors from all over and isn’t expected to melt entirely until May.

The drone camera flies in close to the edge of the falls, providing a great shot of the massive amount of water flowing over its side … the buzz of the drone’s engines drowns out the sound of the water. Excellent flying to get in close to the edge. The next shots are well done, pulling back and giving an overall view of the Niagara Falls area … capturing the massive amount of snow and ice at the base of the falls and on the river. Truly a winter wonderland !

From Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niagara_Falls), Niagara Falls is the name given to three waterfalls on the Canada and the US border … Horseshoe Falls (the largest), American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls (the smallest). The combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world. They have a vertical drop of more than 165 feet (50 meters).
