Quad Drone Race Tips from Charpu | FPV Racing

Get some tips on FPV drone flying and racing from FliteTest as Alex and Josh as are joined by FPV flying superman, Carlos Puertolas, Aka: Charpu.  Quadcopter racing and freestyle flying with the use of goggles for a first-person view (FPV) of the flight is taking off around the world.  FPV Racing clubs are forming and course events are being held with ever increasing regularity. If you are looking to get into FPV racing and/or freestyle drone flying, Charpu is a good guy to watch and see how he does it.  You won’t be flying like Charpu overnight (unless you are some sort of super flying prodigy), but given time and dedication you could be the next “Charpu” !

Lumenier QAV210 CHARPU Carbon Fiber FPV Quadcopter

(Updated Nov 3, 2015) And speaking of Lumenier, there is now a Charpu edition.  The Lumenier QAV210 CHARPU Carbon Fiber FPV Quadcopter was designed for and named after Charpu, the new Lumenier QAV210 CHARPU Carbon Fiber FPV Quadcopter airframe is CHARPU’s new go to frame for acrobatic FPV sessions. It is an extended version of the new QAV180, Lumenier’s smallest FPV quad kit to date. The QAV210 CHARPU is designed to be the smallest possible airframe while comfortably supporting 5″ props and 220X size motors. The airframe is designed to support both 3s or 4s lipo setups and can comfortably carry 1000mah and 1300mah lipos. It utilizes high quality 3K carbon fiber. The frame is designed to mount a mini 26mm FPV camera at a range of angles.
